History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a worn and beaten armor. His white hair is thinning but still full. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.
