Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Carter soon after.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
