History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Melissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills.
