History: Maynild was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a fancy violet dress. She wears her chestnut hair up. Her green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Griselda is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Griselda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Griselda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: She stands about 4'11" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her white hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Detective and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
