History: Joan was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
