Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He got into the Stylist business at a young age. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Ella wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Ella lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
