Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are a pleasant gray.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After months of barely getting by, Frederick managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and grey robe with the hood down. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Glassblower, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Weaver for hire.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. She has a hunchback. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her small black hat.
Personality: Jane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Jane lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears bulky brown painted plate armor. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and doesn't want to be a slave trader and was forced into it by his family
