History: Egelina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her youth she was a Crown-heir, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. After a long history of fighting, Vicky and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
