History: Gifted from a young age, Thomas studied abroad. Thomas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Butcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and human compassion

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to prove her worth to the world
