Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available she will default to her quarterstaff. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Helen lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her blonde hair is long and unkept. Her green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Adelaide hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She has done her best to style her auburn hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Courier. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
