In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ahlyssa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
