History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Mary and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Ernest was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
