History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Margery was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent mother
