History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Griselda was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Adventurer. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sellsword. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his religion dominates his actions
