History: The child of a Mercenary, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Hugh began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by unlife.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: This late middle aged woman dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head and is in decent physical shape. Her head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
