Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Juliana grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
