History: He was born in the east. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
