History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ermina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
