History: Juliana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Emeny learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emeny never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
