Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Alice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.
