Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A true patriot, Randal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Randal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Randal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Jocelyn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hugolina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Hugolina reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
