History: He was born into a rich family. Nicholas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nicholas decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Agatha was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Animal Trainer father left her crippled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Agatha was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
