History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
