History: He was born in the south. William was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Emmeline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
