History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for her, and Helen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.
