Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Marshal but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
