History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.
