History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
