History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Katherine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Katherine. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Miller father left him crippled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: Born to a Baker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
