History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kyle was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north to a Masseuse, Matilda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She tends to her Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
