Personality: Aline wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She married young, but lost her spouse to drow. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 30. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Agnes was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
