She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. Shane was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shane decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: John lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. John was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.
