History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her religion dominates her actions
