Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her mother's many stories. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Gunter reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
