History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
