Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Galiena embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Galiena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Barber responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Susannah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Susannah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
