History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.
