Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Ella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
