Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Alice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Alice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich western family. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Sailor. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and expand his business

History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. She became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again; and expand her business

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
