Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She is renowned for her bright red dresses and hats. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Avice is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Avice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Avice was young, her mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her mother dropped to the ground dead. Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Avice was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He dresses in yellow turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with red slacks. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kody grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kody. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: 6'2" and muscular, this northern man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kody has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother
