History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Beatrice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
