History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is used to getting what he wants. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
