Arnold was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sellsword. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: Susannah speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Susannah was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Aline is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by her family; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
