History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
