History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Eleanor was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Katherine was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
