History: Maynild was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
