Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Manfred was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
