History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rolf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Locksmith for the past few years.
