The war was a terrible time for him, and Robert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Robert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Sage like his mother before him.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Giselle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.
