History: She was born into a rich family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'4". He prefers to wear flannel. His hair is short and golden. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: An older woman who typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull green iron scale mail, she is not a threatening figure. She has wavy white hair. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her religion dominates her actions
